Imiquimod

Dosing: imiquimod 5% cream

• Ahould be applied three times per week at bedtime for up to 16 weeks.
• Area should be thoroughly washed 6 to 10 hours after application (must wash hands after application).
• Imiquimod should not be used on vaginal lesions because it has been reported to cause chronic ulceration.

Side effects: local rash/redness, rare systemic symptoms

Medication should be used in pregnancy.
